The AquaVeil® is a well-established product, and its modular design and bespoke sizing options have made it popular across a wide range of residential installations and market sectors. While many customers are drawn to the unique features that make the AquaVeil so captivating, this particular client wanted to take it one step further—refining the design to feel even more considered for both the brand and the space.
Solution
There are many elements that make the AquaVeil such a distinctive and compelling water feature, especially the intricate water patterns it produces. Any design tailored to suit this building had to stay true to those defining features. While custom colour options have always been available (typically for the outer frame), this installation marked the first time different colours were used within the same AquaVeil. The reservoir and cowl were painted in an off-white tone, softening the appearance and allowing the feature to blend seamlessly into the building’s wall. In contrast, the vertical uprights were painted a dark grey, creating a striking frame that echoed the darker tones behind the veil.
Benefit
This carefully balanced use of two colours—one to blend, one to frame—made the AquaVeil feel truly bespoke and perfectly integrated into the space. It preserved the signature water patterns that define the product, while enhancing its visual impact. The result is a feature that draws attention, becomes a talking point among visitors, and elevates the overall experience delivered by NuYu—underscoring what makes both the product and the brand unique.
