Driven by the client’s aspiration to create a swimming pool and spa area that felt both luxurious and artistic, the challenge was to design a space that balanced the practical needs of a pool and spa with the kind of atmosphere and aesthetic usually reserved for other interior environments.
Given the size of the space and the way the entrance framed the room, it was important that the design drew the eye through the space—creating a visual journey that invited people in.
Solution
The solution was to layer together multiple design elements that combined a sense of luxury with an artistic ambiance. Carefully selected stone was used to texture the walls—chosen not only for its colour but also for its profile and tactile quality. Alcoves were built into the walls to showcase artwork and integrate mood lighting, helping to create a feeling that blended art with elegance.
As you enter the room, your eye is naturally drawn toward the far end, where the AquaVeil water wall becomes the focal point. Its unique, ever-changing water patterns mesmerise and engage the imagination, creating a sense of movement and depth. This initial impact sets the tone, pulling you into a space rich in materials, textures, light, and artistic intent.
